Whats in my kit?
What else do I need?
Oughtred Clinker Ply Boatbuilding Manual
The answer is: A basic kit specific instruction sheet. All the precut plywood components in BS1088 Gaboon ply (okoumme) and mdf molds, and stem aligners for the hull, and for larger boats - cabin furniture, cockpit seat components.
NOTE: The planks have station and scarfing alignment holes. You still need to do some bevelling as you lay your planks up, some scarfing and geralds on the lands toward the bow in dinghies, and bow and stern in the double enders.
You still need to get solid timber for thwarts, miscellaneous framing and gunwales, and your building ladder frame/table. You still need to get epoxy resins packs and tools. we will soon have specific packs for each boat on this site. Materials for rudder and centreboard are additional.
In the meantime, feel free to
contact us .
Important Notice!!
Purchasers of kits must first provide evidence that they are the legitimate owners of s et of plans for that boat, in their name. Kits will not be supplied to builders who do not have their own set of plans.
