NIS TRAILERS

Specially developed over twenty years for the range up to 29, and jinkers for NIS 31. Peter and Glen at Premier Trailers have been involved with the Norwalk Islands sharpies project from the beginning. The brief was to have a trailing system that reflected the boats. Adjustable, easily handled, very durable, as light as practically possible and modestly priced.	Result? All Premier/NIS trailers have easy for and aft axle group adjustment to correctly balance your tow bar load. All Premier/NIS trailers have C channel construction, which means that there are NO hidden rust making water traps, or thin galvanising cover, as there often is in cheaper box section trailers. All Premier/NIS trailers have maximum thickness hot dip Zinc Galvanising protection, applied AFTER fabrication. All Premier/NIS trailers have a roller array at the rear of the trailer to prevent hull alignment abrasion during launch and retrieval. The array is placed to hold the aft tip of the center board, relieving the windup mechanism of stress in highway transit and assuring that the boat will launch even if the CB pendant is loose.	All Premier/NIS trailers have plenty of adjustment of all rollers to assure secure location of the boaqt on the trailer. All Premier/NIS trailers have a spare wheel, clearance lights and a detachable lightboard. All Premier/NIS trailers have been built and designed in association with NISBOATS. All Premier/NIS trailers have been set up to pack down into containers for transport to other countries. All Premier/NIS trailers have been built to have the overall height of the rig on the road to be as low as practicable. All Premier/NIS trailers have override hydraulic brakes, and the larger trailers have vehicle (optiopnal or cqn be retro fitted on the 18 or 23) initiated power brake systems, all of which comply with or exceed the requirements of most jurisdictions and commonsense.
